The official rules for the Contest including, but not limited to, entry requirements, how potential Winners will be selected and how the grand prize will be awarded, are set forth below (“Official Rules”).
1. HOW TO ENTER: The entry period for the Contest begins at 12:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) on September 13, 2010 and ends at 11:59 PM EDT on October 3, 2010 ("Entry Period"). To enter the Contest, go online to the Sara Lee Deli page on Facebook (www.facebook.com/saraleedeli) and click on the link to access the Contest website (the “Sara Lee Deli Web Site”). OR, you may enter the Contest through a Contest portal on one of approximately 20 online media partner web sites (each a “Media Web Site”). After accessing the Sara Lee Deli Web Site or a Media Web Site (collectively referred to as “Web Sites”), complete the contest registration form and follow the instructions to submit an essay of 100 words or less describing the “lunchtime challenge” you face when feeding your child(ren) at lunchtime along with a photo of your child(ren) that depicts your lunchtime challenge (collectively, an “Entry”). Upon submitting, your photo and essay will be visible to all parties visiting the Web Sites.
By entering this Contest, each entrant grants Sara Lee Deli, (the "Sponsor"), its agents, subsidiaries and affiliates an exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub-licensable right to publish, use, adapt, edit and/or modify such Entry, including any portion thereof, in any way, in any media now known or hereafter devised (including without limitation, the Internet), without additional compensation. Participant is expressly prohibited from utilizing the Entry for any purpose other than the Contest. Each entrant hereby represents and warrants that he/she is the original author of his/her Entry and the Entry does and will not infringe any third party's intellectual property or other rights, including without limitation, copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy. In case of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. Entries must be suitable for publication, i.e., may not be obscene or indecent, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its reasonable discretion, during or upon completion of the Entry Period, to eliminate any non-compliant entry without notification. Entries must be received during the Entry Period in order to be eligible. The Sponsor’s computer is the official clock for the Contest. Limit one (1) Entry per person, household, and e-mail address. No mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted. All entries submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. There is a limit of one vote per person per day and any use of automated voting methods or multiple email addresses or computers to vote multiple times may result in disqualification. A panel of judges from the Sponsor will select one (1) Grand Prize winning entry (the “Winning Entry”) from among the top twenty-five (25) Entries, as determined by popular vote, using the following equally weighted judging criteria: (i) creativity and uniqueness of the essay, (ii) ability of essay to capture the essence of a “lunchtime challenge” with child(ren), (iii) relatability of the challenge described in the essay to other moms, and (iv) how well the photo captures the essence of the lunchtime challenge including child(ren) described in the essay. In the event of a tied score among the Entries, the Entries involved in the tie will be reviewed by an additional judge who will serve as a tiebreaker, evaluating Entries according to criteria listed above and selecting the potential Winning Entry. The potential Winning Entry will be determined on or about October 20, 2010 from among all eligible Entries received.
